Art has always been a way that I expressed myself and found a love for all mediums and formats of art making, so when I learned about art therapy and the concept of using art to heal and prosper I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I want to be source of support for all people to find strength in themselves as well as develop social skills and self-worth to establish healthy relationships with themselves and others.

In my practice, I found that art making can be a wonderful way to express internalized emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words. This is why it works well with children; a safe space is created in the art making process.

I’m often described as a calming, steady presence who helps clients feel supported and truly understood. I believe therapy should honor the whole person—mind, body, and lived experience—while staying practical, collaborative, and grounded. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, integrating attachment work, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and insight-oriented techniques. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, build emotional awareness, and create healthier, more sustainable ways of relating to yourself and others. In therapy, I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring vulnerability at their own pace. For those who value spirituality, meaning-making, or existential exploration, I’m open to thoughtfully integrating these elements into the work in a way that feels respectful and client-led.

I earned my undergraduate degree in social work from Brandman University and my master’s degree from Wichita State University. My background includes work in refugee resettlement, child welfare, and outpatient therapy with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. These experiences shaped my passion for helping people move beyond simply surviving difficult experiences toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

I accept the following insurance plans: Aetna, BCBS, Healthy Blue, Sunflower Health Plan, ProviDRs Care, and Self Pay.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and the feeling of being emotionally overwhelmed. Many of my clients are capable and high-functioning, yet they find themselves stuck in repeating patterns or carrying a sense of uncertainty that feels heavy to manage alone.

My approach is relational and reflective. I believe therapy is a collaborative process best suited for those who are open to insight-oriented, talk-based work. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we will work together to understand your experiences with curiosity and create a steady space for you to ground yourself.

I primarily serve young adults and adults, with limited space for older adolescents who are motivated to engage in individual therapy.

If you are looking for a place to explore what feels uncertain or in transition, I invite you to reach out. We can start with a brief conversation to see if my approach is the right fit for you.

I am currently credentialing with insurance panels and I am currently accepting private pay clients.
